——  This project was done for my application to the Master’s Program in Visual Communication Design at Aalto University, which I was accepted into and completed in 2022. The assignment was to make an infographic about a favorite pastime. (Note that the graphic has recently been updated to fit this site.)

——  I chose to visualize one of my oldest passions: that of reading. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve loved the inherent escapism of a good book. When the real world was too stressful or sad or scary, I could always find an alternate reality to jump into instead. This form of daydreaming is still invaluable to me.
