——  This is a collection of images I’ve made for what’s known as an ORG: an Online Reality Game. These are social online games modeled off of reality television shows such as Survivor and Big Brother. These games are played on most social media platforms, but this particular one, titled Pirate MastORG, is hosted on a Discord server. It’s based on the obscure CBS show Pirate Master, which only ran for one season in 2007.

——  These avatars were made for the tenth season of Pirate MastORG. During COVID lockdowns, I befriended the person who runs the game, and helped him with visuals. I asked all hosts (orange) and players (brown) what they wanted me to draw to represent them. Some prompts were relatively straighforward (“Taylor Swift”; “a scorpion”), others stranger and more detailed (“a duck smoking a cigarette”; “a lobster holding a harpoon”).
